TU Lightning Module
The Lightning Module is intended for supplying and monitoring lightning systems or other auxiliary circuits up to rated voltages of 230 Vac (single or three phase).
The Lightning Module with the type designations TU (Transformer Unit), TU-2D (Transformer Unit with 2 Outgoing feeders), TU-3p (Transformer Unit with 1 3-Phases Outgoing feeder), TU-3 (Transformer Unit for 3 kV Power Network), TU-3P-3 (Transformer Unit with 1 3-Phases Outgoing feeder for 3 kV Power Network) and TU-3P-2D (Transformer Unit with 2 3-Phases Outgoing feeder for 3 kV Power Network) and tu-3P-2D (Transformer Unit with 2 3-Phases Outgoing feeders) forms together with control unit a functional unit.
The Lightning Module is a compact unit with integrated control and monitoring electronics. The integrated control and monitoring electronics, called MSR-V25 (Module de Surveillance Réseau), are also called monitoring module or monitoring electronics.
- On/off switching of 2 isolated outgoing feeders
- Monitoring of lightning feeders for overload and short-circuit
- Insulation monitoring of llightning feeders and earth fault lock-out
- Monitoring of protective conductor (monitoring conductor) or Pilot supervision of lightning feeders
- Instantaneous tripping of lightning feeders on low-ohm earth faults
- Emergency Stop/Tripping monitoring (E-Stop)
- Data communication with Control Unit, installed in intrinsically safe enclosure of controlgear
- Current measurement of phases of the two outgoing feeders
