From Germany to the World

Becker Mining Systems is represented by its own subsidiaries or sales offices on five continents. 

Since 1991, Becker Mining Systems has focused on expansion outside of its home market with the founding of Becker Warkop Sp. z o.o. in Poland and a joint venture in China in 1996. Further founding's and strategic acquisitions in various other countries have followed to create the current Becker Mining Systems Group of Companies. 

Through its own growth and acquisitions, Becker Mining Systems will continue to further expand its already strong market position and become the worldwide market leader in its sectors.

Europe

Today, the headquarters of the Becker Mining Systems Group is located in Saarbrücken. In addition to the Becker Mining Systems holding company, Becker Mining Europe and the main in-house training centre are also located in Saarbrücken. Customers from all over the world come here to familiarise themselves with the Becker Mining Systems products. Becker Mining Europe manufactures highly efficient automation systems, energy distribution systems and wireless technologies. They also conduct service and repairs on automation and energy distribution equipment.

Becker Warkop develops, produces and markets systems for man and material haulage, crushers and roof support and also offers solutions in the areas of automation, communication and energy distribution. In addition, locally developed and manufactured products have contributed to Becker Mining Systems becoming one of the most important mining equipment suppliers in Poland. In China the Becker Mining Systems Group is represented by its Tianjin subsidiary Tianjin Becker Electronic Co. Ltd.. They manufacture and market high-quality complete solutions for automation, communication, and energy distribution in high-output faces. On the African continent, Becker Mining South Africa, previously known as Walter Becker SA and established in 1983, is the holding company for the "Becker Mining Systems" African operations. All equipment, products and services that form part of our system solutions are now marketed through a single sales organisation, Becker Mining South Africa. Becker Mining South Africa's equipment and products are locally manufactured by three wholly owned South African manufacturing companies namely Becker Electronics (for all electronic automation and communication systems), EMIS (for all electrical energy distribution and control systems), and Bellambie Mining & Industrial (for all mechanical and roof support systems).
