smartsense® SSFM-100-Airflow Intrinsically Safe Airflow Sensor
The SSFM-100-AIRFLOW Intrinsically Safe Airflow Sensor is one of the state-of-art equipment from Becker Mining Systems smartsense® Environmental Monitoring System. It is the remote sensing head for continuously monitoring airflow.
The Becker Mining Systems SSFM- 100-AIRFLOW is constructed with Solid-state airflow sensor, measuring airflow using the VORTEX method. Vortex method is a proven way to measure the airflow very accurately.
Vortex method is also independent of small particles present in the air stream - like water triplets. And the lifespan of the airflow detector can be in excess of ten years.
The SSFM-100-AIRFLOW is designed to comply with Intrinsically Safe regulations. It can be installed in coalmines and other hazardous locations.
