Centrifugal Switch
Our Wheel Type Centrifugal Switches are designed for use on belt conveyors or similar applications. The switches help prevent slippage and belt fires by automatically shutting off motors when a belt jams. They operate on either AC or DC power and can operate in forward or re- verse direction. When connected in series, they can sequence start belts and trip speeds can be adjusted in the field with only a screwdriver. Our Wheel Type Centrifugal Switch is compact and easy to mount and is available.
in two configurations, both with a rugged drive wheel, a Dust-tight or MSHA enclosure, and an adjustable speed range from 50 FPM to 1880 FPM.
