smartsense Key Facts
The smartsense system utilizes the latest in atmospheric and environmental technology to ensure fast and reliable gas detection and alarm notification both locally and remote. With a built-in self check and calibration verification register allowing for 24/7 peace of mind.
Since no one client’s need is the same the smartsense product range allows for a customized / modular design along the system to expand as needed. From a single gas detection over Wi-Fi through to a mine-wide installation using multiple communication technologies (Leaky Feeder / Copper / Wi-Fi and LTE).
Internal functionality test / self test allows for peace of mind warning the client of pending calibration requirements, all logged on-board and remotely downloadable through the smartflow software application
SSFM
Designed for Fixed installations with known gases
The SSFM-100 system has been meticulously designed to meet industry requirements, incorporating integrated security features into a single, compact unit. It maintains a strong focus on reliability, accuracy, and low power consumption, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
The SSFM-100 has three fully-programmable alarm set-points for Alarm and Output controls along with Short Term Exposure Limit (STEL) and Time Weighted Average (TWA) limits which are displayed on the extra-large LCD display making it possible to view the reading from up to 5 meters away.
The SSFM-100 design offers versatility in gas options and a wide range of configurations, providing enhanced flexibility and a substantial reduction in costs—from procurement through to total cost of ownership.
With the SSFM-100 all-in-one atmospheric and environmental system, each SSFM-100 is both a gas monitor and controller allowing for localized use or implementation into a system-wide installation, using industry standard communication protocols such as Modbus RTU and OPC Connectivity, or for integration into legacy systems using 4-20mA.

SSSG
Designed for remote installations onto existing infrastructure
The SSSG-100 is an all-in-one, customizable gas monitoring unit, reliable in all mining workplace environments.
The IS-designed Single Gas Monitor Terminal Module with Display is easily, and quickly, connected to a Sensor Module to provide an environmental monitoring solution with an on-location user interface.
The sensing capability of the Terminal Module with Display is provided with the addition of Sensor Modules, or a remote sensor. Mine safety can be further increased with the addition of a SSSG-100 Alarm Module.
The SSSG-100 Terminal Module with Display also functions as a black box for storing critical information.
The SSSG-100 can have up to six Sensor Modules stacked easily and neatly together and has hot-swapping capabilities to simplify sensor calibration, service, and replacement. Customized SSSG calibration caps make for a streamlined LED-guided calibration process.
Fully programmable set-points for Alarm and Output controls along with Short Term Exposure Limit (STEL) and Time Weighted Average (TWA) limits for Sensor Modules may be configured via one of the SSSG-100 Terminal Module options.

MCU
Designed for connecting to multiple communications systems
The MCU-100 Modular Communication Unit is the essential communication element in the atmospheric and environmental monitoring system.
It is constructed with modular communication units that support Modbus RTU protocol over RS485 copper and the unique RS485 over Fiber Optic communication backbones, which extend the reliable high-speed communications by up to 5 km.
With the optional Ethernet / WiFi or LTE modules, the MCU-100 can also be the configured as the Modbus TCP to RTU hub in the system.

DPM
Designed for reliable Diesel Particulate Monitoring
Equipped with the ability to monitor a wide range of environmental parameters, the DPM50 offers comprehensive insights into the surrounding conditions.
Wired communication via Modbus RTU RS-485 serial communication allows for seamless
connectivity to supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
Additionally, wireless options such as mesh network, Private 5G, 802.15.4, WiFi, and GSM provide enhanced connectivity and flexibility.
Designed for ease of use, the DPM50 requires minimal setup and configuration, with real-time measurement display and data availability on both the device and communication network.
