Belt Rip Detection System BRS2
The Belt Rip Detection System (BRS2) has been developed to help increase the productivity of conveyor belts by detecting belt rips early through monitored points. Upon detection, the drives are turned off immediately in order to prevent the rip from spreading or becoming worse, significantly reducing damage, costs and downtime.
BRS2 uses inductive loops, which are embedded in the belt. The loops are continuously counted and monitored by BRS2 on the conveyor, enabling the system to create its own image of the belt and loops in real time.
The BRS2 system can be simply accessed and monitored either locally with the 12 inch TFT screen and virtual keypad and five easy access shortcut buttons, or remotely via network access (TCP/IP).
BRS2 offers an intrinsically safe version also.
BRS2 is the most reliable and cost-effective solution for belt rip detection on the market.
