In a testing comparison at full load temperature rise at similar watts per square inch of cooling surface the standard dry type tested at 148.7°C compared to Duratrans™ 129.3°C. This improvement demonstrates its superior ability to handle thermal shocks from sudden peak overloads and cyclic loading, making it ideal for variable frequency drive and rectifier applications.
