In South Africa, the first foreign subsidiary of Becker Mining Systems was founded in 1983. Today, the Becker Group has almost 300 employees there and is represented in all important mining regions with further company and service centres.The product portfolio has a wide range. In addition to electrical and haulage technology, pumps, rope attachments, and lifting equipment are available in South Africa as well. The Leaky Feeder radio technology and Tagging & Tracking, a system for tracking the movements of people and materials, are innovative developments from South Africa.
